The Cedar Hills name has been connected to the property at 5811 Vrooman Road for many years. The Diocese purchased the property known as Cedar Hills in 1960 and it has been an integral part of its ministry for more than 41 years.

Today, Cedar Hills is a two-fold ministry. First and foremost Cedar Hills is a full service conference center offering lodging, meals and consultation to make your event or retreat all that it should be. Our mission is to provide for your comfort and to create the environment necessary for you to accomplish your objective during your visit.

Although the property is owned and operated by the Diocese of Ohio we offer our ministry of hospitality and service to other denominations, faith groups, families and educational non-profits on a first come first serve basis. We welcome you to use our community Living Rooms and Dining Room.

Cedar Hills is also a program of the Diocese of Ohio.  The largest program that is offered at Cedar Hills is the Cedar Hills Summer Camp.  During the summer we engage 545 youth in a vibrant educational and recreational experience where they can discover more about themselves, their community and their God.  Cedar Hills offers many other retreats and events annually for both the Diocese as well as the larger community.

Cedar Hills is 191 acres of wooded property that offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, bird watching, camping, picnicking, swimming, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and many other outdoor activities all year round.
